New Apprentices at Centristic
At Centristic we are keen to inspire, encourage and educate young minds and prepare them for success in future careers. On the back of previous successful Apprenticeship engagement, we have taken on 5 new Apprentices to learn and work alongside our drawing office and fabrication workshop teams.
Robert Moore and Ryan Facey have commenced a three-year, Level 3 Product Design and Development apprenticeship in conjunction with Exeter College. They have already had the chance to visit active sites in order to gain an early wholistic perspective of the Engineering and Construction work that we carry out from conceptual design stage to fabrication and installation.
Feeding back on his time so far Ryan says:
“I’ve been here for just over three months now and I am really enjoying it. Centristic is a great company which have offered me an amazing chance with this apprenticeship. Every one of the Staff here are very supportive and it is a great working environment. I am looking forward to what the future may bring.”
And Rob also adds:
“I am excited to have joined Centristic as an apprentice and look forward to building a career in design engineering.”
Joining the ever-developing fabrication facilities at Centristic, Hallam Iles, Nicholas King and Jake Portus are embarking on the journey to become skilled Fabricator/Welders. Starting their first year in a three-year Level 3 Fabrication and welding apprenticeship.
This follows on from the successful completion of studies by another two apprentices who are adding to Centristic’s skilled workforce.
Centristic, along with Exeter College and their excellent Engineering facility, continue to be fully supportive in providing these vital opportunities to enable young people to train and gain experience in what is a rewarding career path.
Apprenticeships are a key element in Centristic’s strategy to promote and provide a skilled workforce for the future.
