New And Relocated Plant Installation For Hanson Aggregates

Hanson Aggregates wanted to relocate its Trusham, South Devon processing plant to a newly extended pit on the edge of Exmoor where it would replace a very old existing plant. Centristic managed the dismantling and haulage of the Trusham plant to the new site and then made site modifications to the steelwork to allow it to be re-erected it in conjunction with a new tertiary crushing station and associated conveyors. The plant was reconfigured to increase the tonnage output, reduce the production of dust and allow for better access for maintenance/cleaning down.

The job was completed safely and on time, despite many spells of very poor weather.
