Centristic were tasked with the design, fabrication and installation of a complete material process plant for one of the largest independent producers of quarry products in the country. Excellent communications with the clients own engineering team, Centristic successfully manufactured, erected and commissioned the 750tph plant to meet the design requirements dictated by the nature of the local stone.

During the construction of the main screen house structure, a pedestrian operated tower crane was used to install the 269 shell plates that made up the bins. This is thought to be the first time such a method has been used within the materials handling industry. It proved to be a very safe, efficient means of installation of a part of the plant that would otherwise have caused issues with confined space access, crane operator vision etc.
